Q: What was your background prior to joining Fidelity?

I mainly worked for Irish Security Software companies in the Information Security arena - primarily as a consultant in both Network and Software security.

Q: How long have you been with Fidelity?

3 years.

Q: What made you choose to work with Fidelity?

Multiple reasons - mainly I wanted to be part of a larger organisation with opportunities for career progression.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

I chiefly enjoy the challenges and diversity of the projects I am involved in, I am constantly learning and with the good atmosphere in the team it makes my job quite enjoyable.

Q: What words would you use to describe your colleagues?

They are results producers who are dedicated to their work but at the same time they have a very good work life balance.

Q: What type of person can be successful in Fidelity?

A person with a good aptitude for learning, excellent communication skills and is a team player will go places.

Q: How has Fidelity supported your Learning & Development?

Since joining I have been on multiple Personal development courses. I have also received cross training from my peers and external training in specific technical areas. This year with the full support of Fidelity I gained CISSP Certification.

Q: What else can you tell us about ‘life’ at Fidelity?

Personally I find that it is my work colleagues that really make the difference, without their back-up and support work would be much more difficult.

Q: Do you have any advice for prospective employees?

I find Fidelity a very good company to work for and my advice to anybody looking into joining is send on your CV!
